In darkest times, a shadow rose,
A twisted creed, a vile repose,
With crooked cross, and blackened heart,
A blight upon the world did start.
From Deutschland's depths, a monster grew,
Its twisted thoughts, the people knew,
Nazism slithered, like a snake,
Infecting all, in its wicked wake.
A doctrine steeped in hate and scorn,
A people's spirit, ripped and torn,
The scapegoats branded, marked for death,
The world held captive, gasping for breath.
The Fuhrer raged with piercing cries,
Blinded by deceit and lies,
A sea of blood, as millions fell,
A legacy, of unparalleled hell.
No place for love, nor peace, nor grace,
In this inhuman, ruthless race,
A storm of hatred, unyielding force,
A path that veered from reason's course.
Auschwitz, Dachau, names of dread,
The haunting specter of the dead,
Their lives snuffed out, like candles dim,
The world's light flickered, at the whim.
But never more, we shall not bend,
The threads of unity and peace,
Our fight for justice, won't decrease.
We'll stand against the dark and vile,
Defend each other, mile by mile,
And rise above the twisted creed,
That once inflicted, such great bleed.
Nazism, cast to history's page,
Its bitter lessons, fuel our rage,
No more to rise, no more to reign,
For in our hearts, love shall sustain.
